Non NHS Work

The Practice provides a range of non NHS services for which we charge the standard fee recommended by the British Medical Association. These include examinations for employers, solicitors, insurance companies, PSV, HGV and driving licences for the elderly. A charge is usually made for completing holiday cancellation forms and insurance certificates. Also there is a charge for letters e.g gym/fitness to travel.

Sickness Certificates

Doctors are not obliged to issue sick notes for a period of absence from work of less than seven days including weekends. After three days you should obtain a self certification form from your employer.

Patients Group

A Patient Participation Group has been formed to support the Practice, provide insight and information on health related topics and raise funds for medical equipment and ongoing projects. Regular meetings are held with invited speakers. Notices of activities are displayed on the notice board. To date the PPG has supported the Practice with many projects and for which the Practice are very grateful.
