New Telephone system - The surgery has upgraded the telephone system. There are no changes to the telephone numbers, but this should enableaccess to the services more efficiently.

Appointment Booking/cancelling and Repeat Prescription requesting online - Follow the on screen instructions from the Online Services Page of the Website.

First time users remember to 'Create Your Account' before trying to access with your codes.

Extended Access Hours

The practice offers extra appointments 3 mornings a week from 7.10am and to open for 3 1/2 hours on Saturday mornings 8am - 11.30pm, ideally these appointments are for those patients who find it difficult to get to their GP in normal working hours and are bookable in advance only.
Urgent and acute problems will still be dealt with by WELLDOC at Stamford Hospital.
The Reception will not be open for telephone calls, results or appointment bookings during these times and no Nurse or Dispensary staff will be available.

Failing to attend GP appointments

Text to cancel - Tel: 07907558935. Leave your name, date of appointment and the word `CANCEL'. This phone will not accept incoming calls and is for incoming texts only and no reply will be sent.

Try to canel your appointment at least one hour before the actual time, as this will help us to offer your appointment to other patients.
Remember to ask our staff for an appointment card in order to avoid missing appointments.
If you have family commitments, are too ill to attend, are having difficulty in attending due to transport or there are other factors, then please let our staff know as soon as possible.

Changes to the Nurses Walk-in Clinic

Appointments are now required for the following routine medical procedures:

ECG Tests, Blood Pressure Checks, Coil Checks, Depo and B12 Injections, Ear Syringing, New Patient Medicals, Contraceptive Pill Checks, Prostap and Zoladex Injections, Depixol Injections, Swabs, Dressings and Cervical Smears

The Walk-in Nursing Clinic is now for minor illness and urgent cases only between 8.30am - 10.00 am.

Patient's Group - Next Meeting -Wednesday 15th September at 7 p.m. here at the surgery where a talk by a member of the East Midlands Air Ambulance will be taking place. All welcome.

Christmas Raffle - Volunteers needed to sell raffle tickets in the surgery from October onwards. Please speak to Reception if able to help.

VAT Notice to Patients

The following services are liable for VAT at 17.5%:

Witness testimony/reports for litigation compensation or benefit purposes.
Reports/Medicals for the purpose of providing certain fitness certificates.
Some occupational health services.
